Belmondo Bed by LeComfort

The Belmondo Bed by LeComfort is a substantial upholstered bed characterised by a beautifully rounded headboard with distinctive curved stitching. The stitching creates an elegant envelope-like pattern, softening the strong proportions of the bed and giving Belmondo an immediately recognisable identity.

Its compact upholstered base can incorporate a generous concealed storage compartment, making Belmondo particularly attractive for bedrooms where additional storage is useful without compromising the appearance of the interior. Optional CONTENITORE and STAY mechanisms provide practical access to the space beneath the mattress.

Available with different upholstery choices, including fabric, Eco-leather and leather, Belmondo can be adapted from a soft and understated bedroom composition to a stronger, more sophisticated statement piece.

Free delivery throughout Europe on orders over €2,000.

Belmondo Bed – Rounded Headboard with Envelope-Style Stitching

The defining feature of the Belmondo Bed by LeComfort is its rounded upholstered headboard.

Curved seams travel across its surface, creating a distinctive pattern reminiscent of the overlapping lines of an envelope. This decorative stitching contrasts beautifully with the more solid geometry of the upholstered bed base.

The result is a design that feels robust and substantial while avoiding excessive visual heaviness.

The gently curved lines of the headboard introduce movement into the composition and give Belmondo a softer, more inviting character.

Comfortable Padded Headboard

The headboard of the Belmondo Bed is padded with form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³.

A resin-bonded layer covers the polyurethane beneath the final upholstery.

This construction gives the rounded headboard its padded appearance while helping it retain the defined shape required for the characteristic curved stitching.

The side rails and footboard are also padded with 30 kg/m³ form-stable expanded polyurethane foam and finished with a resin-bonded covering beneath the upholstery.

This creates a consistent padded structure around the bed and reinforces the substantial character of the design.

Fabric, Eco-Leather or Leather Upholstery

The Belmondo Bed by LeComfort can be personalised through different upholstery materials.

Depending on the selected configuration, the exterior can be finished in fabric, Eco-leather or leather, allowing Belmondo to take on significantly different visual characteristics.

Fabric can create a softer and more tactile appearance, particularly in warm neutral tones and textured materials. Eco-leather offers a cleaner, more structured surface, while leather can give the rounded headboard and curved stitching a particularly sophisticated character.

The upholstery choice also allows Belmondo to be coordinated with other bedroom furniture, rugs, curtains and decorative textiles.

Optional CONTENITORE Storage

One of the most practical characteristics of the Belmondo Bed is the possibility of incorporating a large concealed storage compartment beneath the mattress.

The CONTENITORE mechanism uses high-resistance steel actuators finished with anthracite grey epoxy powder coating.

A gas-spring mechanism assists the operation of the storage system, providing convenient access to the internal compartment.

The generous space beneath the mattress can be used for bedding, blankets, pillows, seasonal textiles and other bedroom essentials.

When the mechanism is closed, the storage remains completely integrated into the compact upholstered base, preserving the clean appearance of the bed.

STAY Mechanism

Belmondo can also be configured with a STAY mechanism.

Like the CONTENITORE version, the STAY system incorporates high-resistance steel actuators, anthracite grey epoxy powder-coated components and gas-spring assisted operation.

This provides another configuration option for customers who want to combine the distinctive upholstered design of the Belmondo Bed by LeComfort with additional functionality.

FLAT, TWIN, FINE, TRIO and HEAD Bed Bases

Belmondo is available with several mattress-supporting bed-base configurations.

The FLAT, TWIN, FINE, TRIO and HEAD models feature a strong 40 × 30 mm steel frame.

The frame is finished with anthracite grey epoxy powder coating and supports wooden slats beneath the mattress.

These different bed-base configurations provide flexibility when specifying Belmondo according to individual requirements while maintaining the same distinctive upholstered exterior.

LUX Solid Wood Bed Base

In addition to the steel-frame configurations, the LUX bed base provides an alternative construction.

The LUX model is manufactured from solid wood and equipped with wooden slats.

This expands the available configuration possibilities and allows the internal mattress-supporting system to be selected according to individual preferences.

A Strong Yet Elegant Bedroom Centrepiece

The Belmondo Bed is designed to have a substantial presence in the bedroom.

Its compact base gives the design visual solidity, while the rounded headboard and flowing seams prevent the composition from appearing excessively rigid.

This balance makes Belmondo particularly versatile.

In light beige, cream or taupe upholstery, the bed can create a warm and sophisticated bedroom environment. Dark grey, brown or other deeper shades can emphasise its strong proportions and architectural character.

The curved stitching remains an important visual detail regardless of the selected upholstery, highlighting the rounded form of the headboard and distinguishing Belmondo from simpler upholstered beds.

Practical Storage Without Compromising Design

The storage possibilities are particularly well integrated into the overall design of the Belmondo Bed by LeComfort.

Rather than making the bed appear purely functional, the storage compartment remains concealed within the upholstered base.

This allows the bed to provide valuable additional storage while preserving the carefully designed headboard, clean exterior surfaces and balanced proportions.

For bedrooms where available space needs to be used efficiently, this combination of design and concealed functionality can reduce the need for additional freestanding storage furniture.

Customise Your Belmondo Bed by LeComfort

The Belmondo Bed by LeComfort combines a distinctive rounded headboard, elegant envelope-inspired curved stitching and a substantial upholstered base with extensive functional possibilities.

Choose from available fabrics, Eco-leather, leather, colours and finishes, together with the preferred bed-base configuration. FLAT, TWIN, FINE, TRIO and HEAD options feature steel frames with wooden slats, while the LUX version provides a solid wood alternative.

Optional CONTENITORE and STAY mechanisms add practical functionality when additional bedroom storage is required.
