King Bed by LeComfort

The King Bed by LeComfort is an elegant upholstered bed characterised by clean structural lines and a gently curved headboard that softens its contemporary geometry. Its balanced proportions create a refined centrepiece for the bedroom, while the extensive choice of fabrics allows the upholstery to play a central role in the final design.

The padded headboard cushions add comfort and visual depth, while the bed frame and headboard base can be upholstered differently from the cushions for a more personalised appearance. Several bed-base options are available, including steel-frame and solid wood solutions, while optional CONTENITORE and STAY mechanisms provide practical concealed storage beneath the mattress.

Fabric or textile upholstery is completely removable, making King a versatile combination of comfort, customisation and practical functionality.

Free delivery throughout Europe on orders over €2,000.

King Bed – Soft Curves and Clean Contemporary Lines

The design of the King Bed by LeComfort is based on a careful balance between architectural simplicity and softer upholstered forms.

Its defining feature is the slightly curved headboard. The subtle curvature breaks away from the rigidity of a completely straight headboard without making the design overly decorative.

This gives King a sophisticated and inviting character that works naturally in both minimalist bedrooms and warmer interiors based around layered fabrics, natural materials and softer colours.

The upholstery plays an important role in the final appearance, allowing the same bed to take on very different characters depending on the selected textile.

Padded Headboard and Cushions

The structural headboard of the King Bed is padded with form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³ and covered with Tecnoform beneath the final upholstery.

The headboard cushions also use 30 kg/m³ form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with Tecnoform covering.

The side rails and footboard follow the same specification, using form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³ and Tecnoform covering.

This consistent padding specification creates a cohesive upholstered appearance while helping the different elements retain their intended shape.

Customisable Upholstery Combinations

The King Bed by LeComfort provides considerable freedom when selecting upholstery.

The bed frame and headboard base can be upholstered differently from the headboard cushions.

A single fabric throughout creates a coordinated and understated appearance. Closely related shades can subtly emphasise the layered headboard construction, while contrasting colours or textures can make the cushions stand out more clearly from the surrounding structure.

If the selected fabrics belong to different price categories, the highest selected fabric category determines the price.

This flexibility makes King particularly easy to coordinate with other textiles and upholstered furniture within the bedroom.

Completely Removable Fabric Upholstery

The King Bed is available in fabric or textile upholstery and features completely removable covers.

This provides additional practicality for maintenance and allows customers to choose from the available LeComfort collection of fabrics, colours and textures.

Different textiles have different compositions and care requirements, so cleaning and washing should always follow the instructions provided on the label of the selected fabric.

King is not available in leather.

Strong Internal Construction

Beneath its upholstered exterior, the King Bed incorporates a robust internal structure.

The headboard panel, side rails and footboard are manufactured from a combination of E1-class wood fibreboard and solid wood.

For versions equipped with a CONTENITORE or STAY mechanism, the internal bottom panels are manufactured from E1-class wood fibreboard and covered with melamine resin.

This construction provides the structural foundation for the upholstered surfaces, mattress support and optional storage system.

Multiple Bed Base Options

The King Bed by LeComfort can be configured with several bed-base solutions.

The FLAT, TWIN, FINE, TRIO and HEAD bed-base models feature a 40 × 30 mm steel frame, finished with anthracite grey powder coating and equipped with wooden slats.

For customers who prefer a different construction, the LUX bed base is manufactured from solid wood and is also equipped with wooden slats.

These alternatives provide flexibility when configuring the bed according to individual requirements.

Optional CONTENITORE Storage

The CONTENITORE version allows the space beneath the mattress to become a practical concealed storage area.

The mechanism incorporates high-resistance steel actuators, finished with grey powder coating and assisted by a gas-spring mechanism.

This allows the footprint of the bed to provide useful additional space for household linen, bedding, blankets, pillows and other bedroom essentials without requiring separate storage furniture.

When the mechanism is closed, the storage remains discreetly concealed within the upholstered structure.

STAY Mechanism

The King Bed can also be configured with a STAY mechanism.

Like the CONTENITORE version, this configuration uses high-resistance steel actuators, grey powder-coated components and a gas-spring mechanism.

For both CONTENITORE and STAY versions, the bottom panels are manufactured from E1-class wood fibreboard covered with melamine resin.

These options add practical functionality while preserving the refined upholstered appearance of the bed.

Fly Bed Frame and Feet

King is available with standard feet as well as optional designs and finishes.

When configured with the Fly bed frame, Blade and Raf foot sets are available.

Each set consists of:

2 ornamental feet fixed beneath the footboard
2 structural feet fixed beneath the headboard

This arrangement allows the visible front feet to contribute to the overall design while structural support beneath the headboard remains discreet.

Designed Around Fabric and Colour

The restrained geometry of the King Bed by LeComfort provides an excellent foundation for different upholstery choices.

Warm beige, cream, taupe and other neutral fabrics can emphasise the softness of the curved headboard and create a calm bedroom environment. Darker upholstery can give King a stronger architectural presence, while more tactile textiles can further highlight its padded construction.

The possibility of using a different covering for the headboard cushions also allows more individual combinations.

A subtle tonal variation can emphasise the layered construction without creating a strong contrast, while distinctly different fabrics can turn the headboard cushions into a more prominent decorative feature.

Customise Your King Bed by LeComfort

The King Bed by LeComfort combines a gently curved upholstered headboard, comfortable padded cushions and extensive customisation possibilities with practical bed-base and storage options.

Choose from the available LeComfort fabrics, colours and textures and decide whether to create a coordinated appearance or distinguish the headboard cushions from the bed frame and headboard base.

Select from FLAT, TWIN, FINE, TRIO, HEAD or LUX bed bases and add a CONTENITORE or STAY mechanism when additional functionality is required.
