Timeout Recliner Armchair with Footrest by Conform

The Timeout Recliner Armchair with Footrest by Conform combines timeless Scandinavian design with ergonomic support and exceptional reclining comfort. Designed by Jahn Aamodt, Timeout is created for those who want a dedicated relaxation chair without compromising on elegant proportions, premium materials or interior design.

Its reclining function allows you to find a comfortable position for reading, resting or simply relaxing at the end of the day. Combined with the matching Timeout footstool, the chair provides support for the legs and creates a complete full-body relaxation experience.

Extensive customisation options include natural sheepskin, genuine leather or fabric upholstery, different wood finishes, two backrest heights and a selection of aluminium and wooden bases.

Timeout Recliner Armchair with Footrest – Designed by Jahn Aamodt

Designed by Jahn Aamodt, the Timeout collection reflects a distinctly Scandinavian approach to furniture design: clean lines, balanced proportions, natural materials and carefully considered comfort.

The sculptural outer shell gives the armchair its recognisable character, while the generously upholstered interior creates a comfortable and supportive place to relax.

The Timeout Recliner Armchair with Footrest is particularly suited to living rooms, reading areas and dedicated relaxation spaces where comfort and design are equally important.

Comfortable Reclining Function

The reclining function allows the chair to follow your preferred relaxation position, providing a comfortable transition from upright seating to a more relaxed posture.

Combined with the separate footstool, this allows the legs and upper body to be comfortably supported while reading, watching television or resting.

The Timeout Recliner Armchair with Footrest therefore provides a complete relaxation solution without the visual bulk often associated with traditional recliner chairs.

Premium Upholstery Options

The Timeout recliner is available in an extensive selection of carefully selected upholstery materials:

Natural sheepskin
Genuine leather
Fabric

A broad choice of colours, textures and material qualities allows the chair to be personalised according to the surrounding interior.

Natural sheepskin emphasises the warm Nordic character of Timeout. Genuine leather creates a refined and timeless appearance, while fabric provides extensive possibilities for coordinating the armchair with sofas, rugs and other upholstered furniture.

Standard or High Backrest

The Timeout Recliner Armchair with Footrest by Conform is available with two backrest heights:

Standard backrest – maintains the original proportions of the Timeout design.

High backrest (+5 cm) – extends the backrest by 5 cm for customers who prefer additional upper-body and head support.

Both versions preserve the characteristic silhouette and balanced proportions of the Timeout collection.

Wood and Fully Upholstered Finishes

The outer shell can be finished in a beautiful surface veneer or ordered fully upholstered for a softer and more unified appearance.

Available options include:

Lacquered oak
Untreated oak
Black-stained lacquered oak
White ash
Lacquered walnut
Fully upholstered finish

Visible wood highlights the sculptural shape of the chair and creates an attractive contrast with the softer upholstery.

The fully upholstered version provides an alternative for interiors where a more uniform textile or leather appearance is preferred.

Swivel Base Options

A wide selection of bases makes it possible to adapt the Timeout Recliner Armchair with Footrest both aesthetically and functionally.

Available configurations include:

Moulded aluminium swivel base
White-coated moulded aluminium
Black-coated moulded aluminium
Swivel Quattro aluminium
Wood / moulded aluminium
Wooden base

The combination of upholstery, shell and base allows Timeout to range from a warm, natural Scandinavian appearance to a cleaner and more contemporary aesthetic.

Optional Extra-High Seat +3.5 cm

Selected swivel configurations are also available with an extra-high seat (+3.5 cm).

This provides a slightly higher seating position and can make sitting down and standing up more comfortable for customers who prefer additional seat height.

Because this option is available only with selected configurations, the required base and seat-height combination should be confirmed when ordering.

Matching Timeout Footstool

The matching Timeout footstool is designed as a natural continuation of the armchair.

Its proportions and shape complement the recliner while providing comfortable support for the legs. Together, the chair and footstool create a coordinated relaxation set without compromising the clean Scandinavian character of the design.

Available footstool finishes include:

Lacquered oak
Untreated oak
Black-stained lacquered oak
Lacquered walnut
Brushed zinc-coated metal

This allows the footstool to be coordinated with the selected armchair configuration.

Scandinavian Comfort Made to Your Specification

One of the strengths of the Timeout Recliner Armchair with Footrest is the ability to create very different combinations from the same original design.

Natural sheepskin paired with oak gives the chair a particularly warm Scandinavian character. Leather and walnut can create a richer, more classic appearance, while contemporary fabrics paired with black or aluminium details provide a modern interpretation.

The choice between standard and high backrests provides further flexibility, while different base configurations allow the final chair to be adapted both visually and functionally.

Customise Your Timeout Recliner Armchair with Footrest

The Timeout Recliner Armchair with Footrest by Conform brings together Jahn Aamodt’s Scandinavian design, reclining comfort and extensive material customisation.

Choose from natural sheepskin, genuine leather or fabric, select your preferred outer-shell finish and base and choose between the standard or +5 cm high backrest. Selected swivel configurations can also be specified with an extra-high seat (+3.5 cm).

The matching Timeout footstool completes the set and provides comfortable leg support for a more relaxed seating position.
