Santorini Sofa-Bed by LeComfort

The Santorini Sofa-Bed by LeComfort combines balanced proportions and understated elegance with the practicality of a comfortable double bed. Its calm, symmetrical appearance gives Santorini the character of a refined traditional sofa, while an integrated patented mechanism allows it to transform effortlessly into a generous sleeping surface.

During the day, Santorini brings a clean and harmonious presence to the living room. At night, the sofa opens in one smooth movement without removing the seat or back cushions, revealing a substantial 17 cm polyurethane foam mattress.

A choice of four armrest designs, integrated pillow storage and multiple sofa-bed sizes make the Santorini Sofa-Bed a versatile solution for living rooms, guest rooms, apartments and multifunctional interiors.

Free delivery throughout Europe on orders over €2,000.

Santorini Sofa-Bed – Balanced Design and Everyday Functionality

Santorini is characterised by a calm, proportionate design that conceals considerably more functionality than its appearance initially suggests.

The balanced geometry gives the sofa a timeless character, allowing it to work comfortably in both contemporary and more traditional interiors. Rather than visually emphasising its convertible function, the bed mechanism remains discreetly integrated within the upholstered structure.

This makes the Santorini Sofa-Bed by LeComfort suitable for customers who want the convenience of an additional bed without making the living room look or feel like a guest bedroom.

Its clean proportions can also be personalised through four different armrest designs, ranging from the compact Slim option to the wider and more substantial Strong armrest.

Four Armrest Options

The Santorini Sofa-Bed is available with Round, Strong, Happy or Slim armrests.

Each option changes both the appearance and overall external width of the sofa.

Round – 9 cm
A softly proportioned armrest that complements the balanced character of Santorini.

Strong – 19 cm
The widest option, giving the sofa a more substantial and visually grounded appearance.

Happy – 8 cm
A compact design that maintains comfortable proportions while reducing the overall width.

Slim – 7 cm
The narrowest armrest, ideal when efficient use of available room space is particularly important.

This choice allows Santorini to be adapted not only to different interior styles but also to different spatial requirements.

Easy Sofa-to-Bed Transformation

The Santorini Sofa-Bed by LeComfort incorporates a patented opening system designed for simple everyday operation.

Its polished steel base is protected with a high-resistance powder-coated finish.

The mechanism allows the sofa-bed to be opened and closed in one simple movement without removing the seat or back cushions.

This is an important advantage when the sleeping function is used regularly. The sofa cushions remain integrated with the mechanism, eliminating the need to remove them and find somewhere else to store them overnight.

When the bed is closed again, the sleeping system and mattress disappear neatly within the sofa structure.

17 cm Polyurethane Foam Mattress

Santorini is equipped with a generous 17 cm polyurethane foam mattress.

The mattress has a specified density of 25 kg/m³, providing a dedicated sleeping surface integrated within the convertible sofa structure.

The stated 17 cm mattress height is measured at the centre of the mattress rather than at its edges.

Its substantial thickness makes Santorini particularly interesting for interiors where the sofa-bed may be used regularly rather than solely as an occasional emergency sleeping solution.

An optional fireproof mattress is also available where additional fire-resistance specifications are required.

Integrated Pillow Storage

Practicality continues with integrated pillow storage in the backrest.

This provides a convenient place to keep sleeping pillows while Santorini is being used as a sofa, reducing the need for separate bedroom storage.

The combination of a concealed mattress, pillow storage, and a mechanism that does not require cushion removal allows the entire sleeping solution to remain neatly integrated within the furniture.

Strong Internal Structure

The refined upholstered exterior of the Santorini Sofa-Bed is supported by a robust internal construction suitable for its dual sofa and bed functions.

The supporting frame is manufactured from painted steel, while solid pine wood components of varying thicknesses form part of the internal structure.

Remaining structural elements are manufactured from Class E1 wood particleboard panels, with additional details in hard or cellulose wood-based panels.

The complete structure is covered with Tecnoform beneath the final upholstery.

This combination provides the structural support required for everyday seating and repeated operation of the integrated bed mechanism.

Cross-Elastic Belt Seat Support

The seat is supported by cross-elastic belts integrated into the bed-base mechanism.

This allows the seating support and convertible bed system to work together within the same compact structure.

The result is a sofa designed to provide comfortable everyday seating while remaining ready to transform into a sleeping surface whenever required.

Available Sofa-Bed Sizes

The Santorini Sofa-Bed by LeComfort is available in several sizes to accommodate different interiors and sleeping requirements.

Specified seat widths are:

2-seater sofa-bed: 72 cm
3-seater sofa-bed: 82 cm
3-seater Maxi sofa-bed: 92 cm

These measurements refer to the manufacturer’s specified seat widths and not the complete external width of the sofa.

The final overall dimensions depend on the selected sofa-bed size and armrest design. This is particularly important when planning Santorini for a smaller room because changing from the 7 cm Slim armrest to the 19 cm Strong armrest will increase the overall external dimensions.

Additional Dimensions

Seat height from floor: 52 cm
Seat depth: 54 cm
Back structure height from floor: 75 cm
Feet height: 8 cm

The compact 54 cm seat depth and balanced back height contribute to Santorini’s relatively neat profile while maintaining comfortable everyday proportions.

A Versatile Sofa-Bed for Modern Homes

The Santorini Sofa-Bed is particularly suitable for homes where an additional sleeping solution is required without sacrificing the appearance of the main living space.

In a living room, it functions as an elegant sofa during everyday use. When guests stay overnight, the integrated mechanism quickly transforms it into a comfortable double bed.

In apartments and multifunctional rooms, the ability to combine seating and sleeping functions within one piece of furniture helps make more efficient use of available floor space.

The four armrest designs provide another level of flexibility. Slim and Happy help maintain compact overall dimensions, while Round and Strong create a more substantial upholstered appearance.
