Monaco Bed by LeComfort

Monaco Bed by LeComfort

The Monaco Bed by LeComfort is a contemporary upholstered bed defined by clean structural lines and distinctive raw-edged stitching. Its restrained geometry places the emphasis on upholstery, texture and carefully considered proportions, creating a bed that can adapt naturally to a wide variety of modern bedroom interiors.

Monaco offers several bed-frame configurations, including Fly, Ace and Slim, allowing the appearance and functionality of the bed to be adapted to individual requirements. The Fly version can also be ordered with an optional storage solution, while Ace and Slim use a dedicated steel supporting bed base with wooden slats.

A broad selection of feet, including Blade, Raf, Glass, Elsa and Patty, provides further possibilities for personalising the final design.

Monaco Bed – Clean Design with Raw-Edged Stitching

The character of the Monaco Bed by LeComfort comes from the relationship between its simple geometry and distinctive upholstery detailing.

The design avoids excessive decorative elements. Instead, its structural lines are emphasised by raw-edged stitching, giving the upholstered surfaces a more defined and individual appearance.

This detail allows the selected fabric to become an important part of the design. Different colours, textures and textile characteristics can significantly change the overall character of Monaco, from soft and understated to stronger and more architectural.

The result is a versatile upholstered bed that can work naturally in minimalist, contemporary and warmer interior settings.

Padded Upholstered Headboard

The headboard of the Monaco Bed is padded with form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³.

The padding is covered with a resin-bonded layer, creating the upholstered foundation beneath the final covering.

The side rails and footboard use the same 30 kg/m³ form-stable expanded polyurethane foam, also finished with a resin-bonded covering beneath the upholstery.

This consistent padding specification creates a cohesive appearance throughout the upholstered structure while helping the individual components maintain their intended form.

Fly, Ace and Slim Bed Frame Options

The Monaco Bed by LeComfort is available with several bed-frame configurations, allowing the design to be adapted according to both functional and aesthetic requirements.

Available options include:

• Fly
• Ace
• Slim

Each version changes the relationship between the upholstered structure, supporting base and floor.

The Ace and Slim configurations use a dedicated supporting bed base with a 40 × 30 mm steel frame, finished with anthracite grey powder coating and equipped with wooden slats.

The Fly configuration provides another visual alternative and can also be ordered with an optional storage solution.

Optional Fly Bed Storage

For bedrooms where additional storage space is useful, the Fly bed frame is available with storage on request.

The CONTENITORE storage system incorporates high-resistance steel actuators, finished with anthracite grey epoxy powder coating and assisted by a gas-spring mechanism.

This allows the space within the footprint of the bed to provide additional storage for bedding, blankets, pillows and other bedroom essentials.

When closed, the storage remains integrated discreetly within the upholstered structure, preserving the clean appearance of Monaco.

Ace and Slim Supporting Bed Base

Both the Ace and Slim bed frames are equipped with a dedicated supporting bed base.

Its structure consists of a 40 × 30 mm steel frame finished with anthracite grey powder coating and fitted with wooden slats.

This provides a robust mattress-supporting structure while allowing Ace and Slim to retain their distinctive lower-frame designs.

These versions can also be combined with several different foot configurations, providing another opportunity to personalise the appearance of the Monaco Bed.

Blade and Raf Feet for Fly Bed Frame

When Monaco is configured with the Fly bed frame, Blade and Raf foot sets are available.

Each set consists of:

• 2 ornamental feet fixed beneath the footboard
• 2 structural feet fixed beneath the headboard

This arrangement allows the visible feet at the front to contribute to the appearance of the bed while the structural feet beneath the headboard provide discreet support.

Glass Feet for Ace and Slim

With the Ace and Slim bed frames, Monaco can be configured with Glass feet.

The Glass foot set consists of:

• 2 Glass feet fixed beneath the footboard
• 2 Filo feet fixed beneath the headboard

The visible Glass feet can create a lighter relationship between the upholstered bed frame and the floor, while the Filo feet remain discreetly positioned beneath the headboard.

Elsa Sled

The Elsa sled configuration is also available with Ace and Slim bed frames.

It consists of:

• 1 Elsa sled fixed beneath the footboard side
• 2 Filo feet fixed beneath the headboard

The sled-style support introduces a stronger architectural detail to the lower part of Monaco and offers an alternative to conventional individual feet.

Patty Sled

Another option for the Ace and Slim versions is the Patty sled set.

It consists of:

• 1 Patty sled fixed beneath the footboard side
• 2 Filo feet fixed beneath the headboard

Together with the Glass and Elsa options, Patty provides another way to change the visual character of the lower structure while retaining the fundamental design of the Monaco Bed.

A Bed Defined by Upholstery

The clean geometry of Monaco creates an excellent foundation for different fabric choices.

Warm beige, cream and taupe textiles can soften the raw-edged stitching and create a calm bedroom environment. Darker upholstery can emphasise the geometry and give the bed a stronger architectural character, while more tactile fabrics can introduce additional visual depth.

The different bed-frame and foot combinations provide further possibilities for adapting Monaco to the surrounding interior.

Ace or Slim with Glass feet can create a visually lighter effect, while Elsa and Patty sled supports introduce a more pronounced design element. The Fly configuration provides another alternative and can incorporate practical storage when required.
