Klizia Bed by LeComfort

The Klizia Bed by LeComfort is a contemporary upholstered bed distinguished by its adjustable headboard mechanism, clean proportions, and soft padded construction. Designed to combine visual simplicity with practical comfort, Klizia allows the position of the headboard to be adjusted according to how the bed is being used.

Its understated design is particularly well suited to modern bedrooms where comfort and functionality need to remain visually discreet. The single-colour upholstery creates a harmonious appearance across the complete bed, while the extensive LeComfort textile collection allows Klizia to be personalised through different colours and textures.

The upholstery is completely removable, while optional CONTENITORE and STAY mechanisms can add practical concealed storage beneath the mattress.

Free delivery throughout Europe on orders over €2,000.

Klizia Bed – Adjustable Upholstered Headboard

The defining functional feature of the Klizia Bed by LeComfort is its adjustable headboard.

Rather than remaining in a single fixed position, the headboard incorporates an adjustable mechanism that allows its position to be changed. This provides greater flexibility when using the bed for activities other than sleeping.

The padded headboard can offer more adaptable support when sitting upright, reading, or relaxing in bed while maintaining the clean appearance of the overall design.

This combination of functionality and restrained styling makes Klizia a versatile choice for contemporary bedroom interiors.

Soft Padded Construction

The headboard is padded with form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³ and covered with Tecnoform beneath the final upholstery.

The side rails and footboard also use 30 kg/m³ form-stable expanded polyurethane foam, covered with Tecnoform.

This consistent padding specification gives the upholstered surfaces a cohesive appearance while helping the individual elements maintain their intended shape.

The result is a bed that balances the straight lines of its internal structure with softer upholstered surfaces.

Completely Removable Fabric Upholstery

The Klizia Bed is available in fabric or textile upholstery with completely removable covers.

This provides additional practicality for maintenance and allows customers to choose from the available LeComfort fabrics, colours and textures.

Because different textiles have different fibre compositions and care requirements, cleaning or washing should always be carried out according to the instructions provided on the specific fabric label.

Klizia is not available in leather.

Single-Colour Configuration

The Klizia Bed by LeComfort is available in a single-colour configuration.

This means the design is intended to maintain a consistent upholstery colour across its upholstered elements rather than combining contrasting coverings on different parts of the bed.

The single-colour approach complements the clean character of Klizia particularly well. Instead of relying on contrasting fabrics for visual interest, the design is defined by its proportions, padding and adjustable headboard.

Different textile textures can still significantly influence the final appearance. Smooth fabrics can emphasise its clean geometry, while more textured upholstery can create a warmer and softer bedroom atmosphere.

Strong Internal Frame

Beneath the upholstery, the Klizia Bed features a robust internal structure manufactured from a combination of E1-class wood fibreboard and solid wood.

This construction is used for the headboard panel, side rails and footboard.

For versions equipped with a CONTENITORE or STAY mechanism, the internal bottom panels are manufactured from E1-class wood fibreboard and covered with melamine resin.

The internal construction provides the structural foundation for the upholstered frame, bed base and available storage mechanisms.

FLAT, TWIN, FINE and TRIO Bed Bases

The Klizia Bed can be configured with several bed-base models according to individual requirements.

Available options include:

FLAT
TWIN
FINE
TRIO

These bed bases feature a 40 × 30 mm steel frame finished with anthracite grey powder coating.

Each version is equipped with wooden slats, providing the mattress support system within the upholstered bed structure.

The availability of several bed-base configurations makes it possible to select the most suitable Klizia specification for the bedroom and mattress setup.

Optional CONTENITORE Storage Mechanism

For bedrooms where additional storage space is valuable, Klizia can be configured with a CONTENITORE mechanism.

The lifting system uses high-resistance steel actuators, finished with grey powder coating and assisted by a gas-spring mechanism.

This allows the area beneath the mattress to be used as concealed storage without requiring additional floor space elsewhere in the bedroom.

The storage compartment can provide practical space for bedding, blankets, pillows, and other bedroom essentials while remaining hidden when the bed is closed.

Optional STAY Mechanism

The STAY mechanism provides another available configuration for the Klizia Bed.

Like the CONTENITORE version, it uses high-resistance steel actuators, grey powder-coated components and a gas-spring mechanism.

For both CONTENITORE and STAY configurations, the bottom panels are manufactured from E1-class wood fibreboard covered with melamine resin.

These optional mechanisms add practical functionality while preserving the clean upholstered appearance of the bed.

Feet and Finishing Options

The Klizia Bed by LeComfort is available with standard feet as well as optional feet and finishes according to the selected configuration.

The choice of feet can subtly change the relationship between the upholstered frame and the floor. More discreet options keep attention focused on the headboard and upholstery, while more visible designs can give the bed a lighter overall appearance.

Available combinations can be selected together with the preferred bed size, bed base and upholstery.

A Versatile Choice for Contemporary Bedrooms

Klizia’s restrained design makes it suitable for a broad range of contemporary interiors.

Light beige, cream and warm neutral fabrics can create a calm bedroom environment, while darker grey and deeper shades can give the Klizia Bed a stronger architectural presence.

The single-colour configuration keeps the overall composition visually balanced, while the adjustable headboard introduces practical functionality without disrupting the clean design.

Combined with optional under-bed storage, Klizia can also be an effective solution for bedrooms where efficient use of space is important.

Customise Your Klizia Bed by LeComfort

The Klizia Bed by LeComfort combines a clean upholstered design with an adjustable headboard mechanism, completely removable textile covers and several functional configuration options.

Choose from the available LeComfort fabrics, colours and textures to create the preferred single-colour finish.

Select from FLAT, TWIN, FINE or TRIO bed bases and add a CONTENITORE or STAY mechanism when additional functionality and concealed storage are required.
