Fris Bed by LeComfort

The Fris Bed by LeComfort combines a substantial upholstered structure with two soft headboard pillows, refined decorative piping and practical storage possibilities. Its design balances the clean proportions of the bed frame with the relaxed character of the cushions, creating an inviting centrepiece for contemporary bedrooms.

Two airy headboard pillows filled with frayed polyester fibre soften the appearance of the structured upholstered base and provide comfortable support when sitting or relaxing in bed. The bed frame, headboard base, cushions and decorative piping can also be personalised with different coverings, offering considerable freedom when creating coordinated or contrasting combinations.

For additional functionality, the Fris Bed can be configured with a CONTENITORE or STAY mechanism, making practical use of the space beneath the mattress for storing bedding and other bedroom essentials.

Free delivery throughout Europe on orders over €2,000.

Fris Bed – Soft Cushions and Refined Upholstered Design

The Fris Bed by LeComfort combines two different visual elements: a solid, structured upholstered base and a pair of softer headboard pillows.

The generously proportioned pillows create a relaxed appearance and soften the architectural lines of the bed. Elegant decorative trim provides additional definition and gives the cushions a more tailored finish.

This combination makes Fris suitable for bedrooms where contemporary design needs to feel comfortable rather than overly minimal.

The different upholstered elements also provide considerable opportunity for personalisation through LeComfort’s selection of fabrics, colours and textures.

Two Soft Headboard Pillows

A distinctive feature of the Fris Bed is its pair of airy headboard pillows.

Unlike the polyurethane foam used in the structural headboard, the cushions are filled with frayed polyester fibre. This creates a softer and more relaxed character that contrasts with the form-stable padding of the surrounding structure.

The pillows provide additional comfort when sitting upright in bed, whether reading or simply relaxing.

Decorative piping outlines the cushions and can be used to subtly complement the main upholstery or create a more noticeable contrasting detail.

Padded Headboard and Bed Frame

The structural headboard is padded with form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³ and covered with Tecnoform beneath the final upholstery.

The side rails and footboard also use 30 kg/m³ form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with Tecnoform covering.

This construction gives the main upholstered elements a stable, defined appearance while the softer polyester-filled pillows introduce a contrasting level of comfort.

Beneath the padding, the headboard panel, side rails and footboard are manufactured from a combination of E1-class wood fibreboard and solid wood.

Customisable Fabric Combinations

The Fris Bed by LeComfort offers extensive possibilities for upholstery personalisation.

The bed frame and headboard base can be upholstered differently from the headboard cushions and decorative piping.

This allows Fris to be configured in several ways. One fabric throughout creates a calm and coordinated appearance, while related shades can subtly distinguish the softer cushions from the structural parts of the bed.

More contrasting colours or textures can be used when the intention is to emphasise the layered headboard design.

If fabrics from different price categories are selected, the highest selected fabric category determines the price.

Importantly, the fabric chosen specifically for the decorative piping does not change the price category.

Completely Removable Upholstery

The Fris Bed is available in fabric or textile upholstery with completely removable covers.

This provides additional practicality for maintenance and gives customers access to a broad selection of LeComfort fabrics, colours and textures.

The correct cleaning or washing method depends on the selected textile, so the individual care instructions supplied with the chosen fabric should always be followed.

Fris is not available in leather.

CONTENITORE Under-Bed Storage

The CONTENITORE version allows the space beneath the mattress to be used as a practical storage compartment.

The mechanism incorporates high-resistance steel actuators, finished with grey powder coating and assisted by a gas-spring mechanism.

The storage area is integrated into the footprint of the bed, providing useful additional space for household linen, blankets, pillows and other bedroom essentials without requiring additional furniture.

For the CONTENITORE configuration, the internal bottom panels are manufactured from E1-class wood fibreboard covered with melamine resin.

When closed, the storage remains concealed inside the upholstered bed structure.

STAY Mechanism

The Fris Bed by LeComfort can also be configured with the STAY mechanism.

Like the CONTENITORE version, the STAY configuration uses high-resistance steel actuators, grey powder-coated components and a gas-spring mechanism.

The internal bottom panels are also manufactured from E1-class wood fibreboard and covered with melamine resin.

These options allow the functionality of Fris to be selected according to individual bedroom requirements while maintaining the same refined upholstered appearance.

Feet and Fly Bed Frame

Fris is available with standard feet as well as optional designs and finishes.

When configured with the Fly bed frame, Blade and Raf foot sets are available.

Each set consists of:

2 ornamental feet fixed beneath the footboard
2 structural feet fixed beneath the headboard

This arrangement keeps the necessary structural support beneath the headboard discreet while allowing the visible front feet to contribute to the overall design.

Designed for Comfortable Contemporary Bedrooms

The combination of structured upholstery and softer cushions gives the Fris Bed a versatile character.

Warm beige, cream, taupe and other neutral textiles can emphasise the relaxed appearance of the headboard pillows. Darker upholstery can create a stronger architectural presence, while contrasting fabrics can make the cushions more visually distinct from the headboard base.

Decorative piping provides an additional opportunity to introduce a subtle contrasting detail without determining the price category.

This flexibility makes Fris easy to coordinate with other bedroom textiles, including curtains, rugs, decorative cushions and upholstered furniture.

Customise Your Fris Bed by LeComfort

The Fris Bed by LeComfort combines two soft headboard pillows, refined decorative piping and a substantial upholstered structure with extensive possibilities for personalisation.

Choose from the available LeComfort fabrics, colours and textures and decide whether to create a coordinated single-fabric appearance or distinguish the bed frame and headboard base from the cushions and decorative piping.

Optional CONTENITORE and STAY mechanisms add practical functionality, while different feet and finishes allow the appearance of the lower bed frame to be personalised.
