Inside Bed by LeComfort

The Inside Bed by LeComfort combines a clean, balanced silhouette with an ingenious space-saving feature hidden within its headboard. At first glance, Inside appears understated and refined, with a softly padded headboard defined by symmetrical vertical stitching. Behind this elegant surface, however, the headboard reveals a practical integrated storage compartment.

This clever solution provides useful additional storage without changing the overall footprint of the bed or disrupting its minimalist appearance. Together with optional CONTENITORE and STAY mechanisms, Inside offers multiple ways to make better use of bedroom space while maintaining a sophisticated upholstered design.

The headboard, side rails and footboard are carefully padded with form-stable polyurethane foam, creating a comfortable and cohesive appearance.

Inside Bed – Hidden Storage Behind the Headboard

The most distinctive feature of the Inside Bed by LeComfort is concealed behind its upholstered headboard.

From the front, the headboard has a calm and symmetrical appearance. Vertical seams divide its soft surface into balanced sections, introducing subtle visual rhythm without excessive decoration.

Behind the headboard is a functional storage compartment, providing additional space for bedroom essentials while keeping them discreetly out of sight.

This is particularly useful in bedrooms where floor space is limited or where a clean, uncluttered appearance is preferred.

Rather than adding another visible piece of storage furniture, Inside incorporates useful storage directly into the structure of the bed.

Soft Headboard with Vertical Stitching

The headboard gives the Inside Bed much of its visual identity.

Its soft upholstered surface is characterised by symmetrical vertical seams, which emphasise the height and proportions of the headboard while maintaining the linear character of the design.

Beneath the upholstery, the headboard is padded with form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³.

The polyurethane is covered with a resin-bonded layer, providing the foundation beneath the final upholstery.

This construction combines a comfortable padded appearance with clearly defined structural lines.

Integrated Headboard Storage

Unlike conventional upholstered headboards, Inside uses the space behind the headboard as a functional part of the design.

The concealed compartment provides a clever location for storing bedroom items without introducing additional cabinets or visible storage units around the bed.

The solution is particularly interesting because the storage feature does not dominate the appearance of the bed. From the front, Inside Bed by LeComfort retains its clean upholstered design and symmetrical vertical detailing.

Only when access is required does the practical function behind the headboard become apparent.

This combination of understated appearance and hidden functionality reflects the central concept behind Inside: making better use of available space without compromising the design of the bedroom.

Padded Bed Frame and Footboard

The upholstered construction continues from the headboard through the side rails and footboard.

These elements use form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³, finished with a resin-bonded covering beneath the upholstery.

Using the same padding density throughout the structural upholstered components helps maintain a coherent appearance between the headboard and bed frame.

The result is a balanced design where the technical and storage features remain discreetly integrated within a soft contemporary exterior.

Optional CONTENITORE Storage

For even greater storage capacity, the Inside Bed can also be configured with a CONTENITORE mechanism.

This solution transforms the area beneath the mattress into another practical concealed storage compartment.

The mechanism uses high-resistance steel actuators with an anthracite grey epoxy powder-coated finish. A gas-spring mechanism assists its operation.

This provides valuable additional space for storing bedding, blankets, pillows and other bedroom essentials within the footprint of the bed.

Combined with the integrated headboard compartment, the CONTENITORE configuration makes Inside particularly suitable for interiors where efficient use of available space is important.

Optional STAY Mechanism

A STAY version is also available.

The STAY configuration uses the same type of high-resistance steel actuators, anthracite grey epoxy powder-coated finish and gas-spring assisted mechanism.

The availability of CONTENITORE and STAY variants allows the functionality of the Inside Bed by LeComfort to be adapted according to individual bedroom requirements.

These mechanisms remain integrated into the structure so that the clean appearance of the upholstered bed is preserved.

Designed for Modern Space-Saving Interiors

Inside demonstrates that practical storage does not necessarily need to be visually prominent.

Its balanced proportions, vertical headboard stitching and concealed storage make it particularly appropriate for contemporary bedrooms where furniture is expected to perform more than one function.

The integrated headboard compartment can reduce the need for additional visible storage, while the optional under-bed mechanisms provide another level of functionality.

Despite these practical features, the Inside Bed maintains a calm and elegant appearance.

The storage solutions are secondary to the visual design until they are needed, allowing Inside to remain a refined upholstered centrepiece rather than looking like purely functional storage furniture.

Customise Your Inside Bed by LeComfort

The Inside Bed by LeComfort combines elegant contemporary design with intelligent use of space. Its softly padded headboard features symmetrical vertical stitching and conceals a practical storage compartment behind it, while optional CONTENITORE and STAY configurations can provide additional functionality beneath the mattress.

Choose from the available LeComfort fabrics, colours and textures to adapt the bed to your bedroom interior.
