Gaucho Bed by LeComfort

The Gaucho Bed by LeComfort combines timeless proportions with distinctive upholstery detailing. Its defining feature is a generously proportioned square headboard decorated with a geometric quilted square motif, giving the bed an elegant, structured appearance that works beautifully in both contemporary and more traditional bedroom interiors.

The precise geometry of the headboard is softened by comfortable padding, while optional decorative piping adds another refined detail around the upholstered structure. Gaucho can be upholstered in fabric, textile, or leather, offering considerably different visual interpretations of the same design.

Beyond its elegant appearance, the Gaucho Bed by LeComfort can be configured with several bed-base options and optional CONTENITORE or STAY under-bed storage, combining sophisticated design with practical everyday functionality.

Gaucho Bed – Geometric Quilted Headboard

The most recognisable feature of the Gaucho Bed is its large, squared upholstered headboard.

A carefully arranged pattern of quilted squares introduces depth and structure to the otherwise clean geometric form. The quilting creates a sophisticated interplay of light and shadow across the upholstered surface, giving the headboard visual interest without relying on excessive decoration.

The result is a versatile design. In lighter neutral fabrics, the quilting appears soft and understated, while darker upholstery can make the geometric pattern considerably more pronounced.

In leather, the same square motif gives Gaucho a richer and more substantial character.

Comfortable 30 kg/m³ Padding

The headboard is padded with form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³ and covered with Tecnoform beneath the final upholstery.

The side rails and footboard also use 30 kg/m³ form-stable expanded polyurethane foam, covered with Tecnoform.

This construction provides the softness required for an upholstered bed while helping the individual elements maintain their intended shape.

Fabric and Textile Upholstery

The Gaucho Bed by LeComfort is available in fabric or textile upholstery with completely removable covers.

This makes maintenance more practical and provides extensive possibilities for adapting the bed to different bedroom interiors.

The exact composition, cleaning method, and washing instructions depend on the selected upholstery, so the care instructions supplied with the individual fabric should always be followed.

Gaucho is designed in a single-colour configuration, maintaining the visual continuity of its geometric headboard and upholstered frame.

Gaucho Bed in Leather

Unlike many upholstered LeComfort bed models, Gaucho is also available in leather.

For the leather version, only the bed-frame upholstery is removable. The leather upholstery on the headboard is not removable.

Because genuine leather is a natural material and individual hides have natural dimensional limitations, additional stitching may be necessary compared with the fabric version of the bed. These seams are a normal consequence of working with natural hides and should not be considered a product defect.

The rear of the headboard is not finished in leather.

Mixed upholstery combinations using leather together with fabric or textile are not available. The selected configuration must therefore follow the manufacturer’s permitted upholstery combination.

Decorative Piping

Gaucho is available with a choice of decorative piping, providing a subtle additional detail around the upholstered design.

The piping can be selected to complement the main upholstery and further define the clean lines of the bed.

Importantly, the choice of decorative piping does not change the upholstery price category.

Together with the quilted square motif, this detail gives the Gaucho Bed a carefully tailored and sophisticated appearance.

Strong Internal Construction

The upholstered exterior is supported by a robust internal structure.

The headboard panel, side rails and footboard are manufactured from a combination of E1-class wood fibreboard and solid wood.

For versions equipped with the CONTENITORE or STAY storage mechanism, the internal bottom panels are manufactured from E1-class wood fibreboard and finished with melamine resin.

This construction provides a stable foundation for both the upholstered elements and the optional storage mechanism.

Multiple Bed Base Options

The Gaucho Bed by LeComfort can be configured with several different slatted bed bases.

The FLAT, TWIN, FINE, TRIO and HEAD models feature a strong 40 × 30 mm steel frame, finished with anthracite grey powder coating and equipped with wooden slats.

The LUX bed base offers an alternative construction manufactured from solid wood and equipped with wooden slats.

These options make it possible to configure Gaucho according to individual functional requirements and the selected bed-frame design.

Optional CONTENITORE and STAY Storage

For customers who need additional bedroom storage, the Gaucho Bed can be equipped with a CONTENITORE or STAY mechanism.

These versions use high-resistance steel actuators, finished with grey powder coating and assisted by a gas-spring mechanism.

The lifting system provides convenient access to the compartment beneath the mattress, creating useful concealed storage for bedding, blankets, pillows and other bedroom essentials.

When closed, the storage remains completely integrated within the upholstered bed structure, preserving the clean appearance of the design.

Feet and Fly Bed Frame

A variety of standard and optional feet and finishes are available, allowing the appearance of Gaucho to be further personalised.

With the Fly Bed Frame, the Blade and Raf foot sets consist of:

2 decorative feet positioned beneath the footboard
2 structural feet positioned beneath the headboard

The choice of feet can subtly alter the character of the bed, from a more grounded appearance to a lighter and more elevated profile.

A Versatile Design for Different Bedroom Styles

The Gaucho Bed by LeComfort can take on very different personalities depending on the selected upholstery.

In soft beige, cream, sand, or warm grey fabric, its square quilting creates a calm and sophisticated appearance suitable for contemporary and Scandinavian-inspired bedrooms.

Darker textile upholstery gives the headboard greater visual depth, emphasising the geometric quilting.

Choosing genuine leather transforms Gaucho again, creating a richer and more substantial appearance while highlighting the craftsmanship of the upholstered square motif.

This versatility makes Gaucho particularly suitable for customers who appreciate classic proportions but want enough upholstery choice to personalise the final result.

Customise Your Gaucho Bed by LeComfort

The Gaucho Bed by LeComfort combines a distinctive quilted headboard, generous padding and extensive configuration possibilities in one elegant design.

Choose from the LeComfort collection of fabrics, textiles or leathers, select your preferred decorative piping and configure the bed with the bed base, feet and optional storage mechanism that best suit your bedroom.

For additional functionality, the optional CONTENITORE and STAY mechanisms provide concealed storage beneath the mattress while preserving the clean upholstered appearance of the bed.
