Fenice Bed by LeComfort

Fenice Bed by LeComfort

The Fenice Bed by LeComfort is a refined upholstered bed characterised by clean architectural lines, precisely edged stitching and a distinctive ventilated mattress base. Its restrained geometry gives the design a contemporary character, while the upholstered headboard introduces softness and comfort without compromising the clarity of its form.

A particularly interesting feature of Fenice is its wooden mattress base with integrated ventilation holes, designed to encourage airflow beneath the mattress. The base is supported by an anthracite-painted metal structure, creating a robust foundation beneath the upholstered exterior.

The Fenice Bed also offers extensive possibilities for personalisation. The mattress base and headboard base can be upholstered differently from the headboard cushions, allowing coordinated tonal combinations or contrasting fabrics to emphasise the individual elements of the design.

Free delivery throughout Europe on orders over €2,000.

Fenice Bed – Clean Geometry and Refined Stitching

The design of the Fenice Bed by LeComfort is based on clear, deliberate structural lines.

Rather than relying on elaborate decorative elements, Fenice uses proportion, upholstery, and carefully executed edged stitching to define its appearance. The stitching follows and reinforces the geometry of the bed, giving the upholstered surfaces a precise and tailored finish.

This understated approach makes Fenice particularly suitable for contemporary bedrooms where simplicity is important but completely minimal furniture might feel too severe.

Soft upholstery balances the structural geometry, creating a bed that feels both architectural and inviting.

Comfortable Padded Headboard

The headboard uses form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³, covered with Tecnoform and polyester fibre.

This layered construction gives the headboard its upholstered volume while helping it retain its intended shape.

The wooden panel is additionally covered with coupled polyurethane, contributing to the padded construction beneath the final upholstery.

Together, these materials create a softer surface while preserving the defined lines that characterise the Fenice design.

Ventilated Wooden Mattress Base

One of the most distinctive technical features of the Fenice Bed is its mattress support system.

Fenice incorporates a wooden base with ventilation holes beneath the mattress. These openings allow air to circulate more freely around the underside of the mattress rather than enclosing it completely against a solid, non-ventilated surface.

Mattress ventilation can be particularly useful in an upholstered bed, where the mattress is surrounded by substantial textile and padded elements.

The wooden mattress base is supported by a strong anthracite-painted metal structure, combining the warmth of a wooden support surface with the structural stability of metal.

Completely Removable Upholstery

The Fenice Bed by LeComfort is available in fabric or textile upholstery and features completely removable covers.

Removable upholstery provides greater practicality for long-term maintenance and gives customers access to a broad selection of LeComfort fabrics, colours and textures.

Cleaning and washing requirements depend on the selected textile, so the individual care instructions supplied with the chosen fabric should always be followed.

Customisable Fabric Combinations

Fenice offers considerable freedom when selecting upholstery.

The mattress base and headboard base can be upholstered in a different fabric from the headboard cushions.

This makes it possible to personalise the bed in several different ways.

Using one fabric throughout creates a clean, unified appearance that emphasises the architectural form and edged stitching. Closely related shades can create a subtle layered effect, while contrasting colours or textures can make the headboard cushions stand out more clearly from the surrounding structure.

If fabrics from different price categories are selected, the highest selected fabric category determines the price.

This flexibility makes Fenice particularly easy to coordinate with other upholstered furniture and textiles within the bedroom.

Strong Internal Construction

The headboard panel is manufactured from a combination of E1-class wood fibreboard and solid wood, creating a stable internal foundation for the upholstered headboard.

The mattress rests on the ventilated wooden base, while an anthracite-painted metal support structure provides the structural foundation beneath it.

This construction differs from a conventional upholstered bed with a separate slatted steel bed base, giving Fenice its own distinctive technical architecture.

Glass Feet

Among the available options is the Glass foot set.

This configuration consists of:

  • 2 Glass feet fixed beneath the footboard
  • 2 Filo feet fixed beneath the headboard

The more visually distinctive feet are therefore positioned at the front of the bed, while the structural Filo feet support the headboard side.

This configuration can give the upholstered structure a lighter visual appearance while keeping the required support discreetly positioned beneath the bed.

Elsa Sled Base

Fenice can also be configured with the Elsa sled set.

This arrangement consists of:

  • 1 Elsa sled fixed beneath the footboard side
  • 2 Filo feet fixed beneath the headboard

The sled-style front support creates a different visual relationship between the bed and floor and can give Fenice a more architectural appearance.

Patty Sled Base

Another available configuration is the Patty sled set, consisting of:

  • 1 Patty sled fixed beneath the footboard
  • 2 Filo feet fixed beneath the headboard

Like the Elsa option, the Patty sled changes the visual character of the lower section of the bed while maintaining structural support beneath the headboard.

Standard feet and additional optional finishes are also available depending on the selected configuration.

A Refined Bed for Contemporary Interiors

The Fenice Bed is particularly suitable for bedrooms where clean lines and carefully selected materials are more important than excessive decoration.

In a neutral fabric, the edged stitching and precise geometry provide subtle definition. Textured upholstery can introduce additional warmth, while contrasting fabrics can emphasise the relationship between the headboard cushions, headboard base, and mattress base.

The choice of feet provides another opportunity to influence the overall appearance. Glass feet can create a visually lighter effect, while the Elsa and Patty sled options give the lower structure a more distinctive architectural presence.

Combined with the ventilated wooden mattress support, these elements make Fenice an interesting alternative to a conventional upholstered bed.

Customise Your Fenice Bed by LeComfort

The Fenice Bed by LeComfort combines clean architectural geometry, refined edged stitching and a practical ventilated mattress base with extensive upholstery possibilities.

Choose from the available LeComfort fabrics, colours and textures and decide whether to create a coordinated single-fabric design or distinguish the mattress base and headboard base from the headboard cushions.

Different foot configurations, including Glass, Elsa and Patty, provide additional possibilities for adapting the bed to your preferred interior style.
