Duo Bed by LeComfort

The Duo Bed by LeComfort is a contemporary upholstered bed distinguished by its adjustable headboard mechanism, allowing the headboard to change position according to the desired level of support and comfort. Clean proportions and soft padding give Duo an understated appearance, while its adjustable design introduces practical functionality for reading, relaxing, or sitting comfortably in bed.

The upholstered structure is available in a single-colour configuration, creating a harmonious and visually consistent appearance across the headboard and bed frame. Fabric or textile upholstery is completely removable, while several bed-base options and optional CONTENITORE or STAY storage mechanisms allow Duo to be adapted to different bedroom requirements.

Free delivery throughout Europe on orders over €2,000.

Duo Bed – Adjustable Headboard for Personalised Comfort

The defining feature of the Duo Bed by LeComfort is its adjustable headboard.

Instead of functioning solely as a fixed decorative element, the headboard incorporates an adjustable mechanism that allows its position to be changed according to how the bed is being used.

This makes Duo particularly suitable for customers who regularly sit upright in bed to read, watch television, or simply relax. The adjustable construction allows the headboard to provide more adaptable support while preserving the clean appearance of the upholstered bed.

When combined with the understated bed frame, this functional detail gives Duo a contemporary character without making the mechanism visually dominant.

Padded Upholstered Headboard

The headboard of the Duo Bed is padded with form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³ and covered with Tecnoform beneath the final upholstery.

The padding provides the volume and softness required for the adjustable headboard while helping it retain its intended form.

The side rails and footboard are also padded with 30 kg/m³ form-stable expanded polyurethane foam and covered with Tecnoform.

This consistent padding specification gives the bed a cohesive upholstered appearance from the headboard through to the lower frame.

Single-Colour Configuration

Unlike LeComfort beds that allow contrasting fabrics between individual components, the Duo Bed by LeComfort is available in a single-colour configuration.

The same selected upholstery therefore creates a coordinated appearance across the bed.

This approach suits the restrained character of Duo particularly well. Rather than using contrasting materials as its primary decorative feature, the design relies on proportion, upholstered volume and the adjustable headboard mechanism.

Customers can still significantly change the character of the bed by selecting from different fabric colours and textures within the available LeComfort upholstery collection.

Completely Removable Fabric Upholstery

The Duo Bed is available in fabric or textile upholstery with completely removable covers.

Removable upholstery provides additional practicality for maintenance and makes it possible to choose from a broad range of textile options.

The appropriate cleaning and washing method depends on the selected fabric, so the individual care instructions supplied on the upholstery label should always be followed.

Duo is not available in leather.

Strong Internal Construction

The upholstered exterior is built around a robust internal structure.

The headboard panel, side rails and footboard are manufactured from a combination of E1-class wood fibreboard and solid wood.

For versions equipped with a CONTENITORE or STAY mechanism, the internal bottom panels are manufactured from E1-class wood fibreboard and covered with melamine resin.

This construction provides a stable foundation for the upholstered structure, adjustable headboard and available bed-base configurations.

Multiple Bed Base Options

The Duo Bed by LeComfort can be configured with several bed-base solutions.

The FLAT, TWIN, FINE, TRIO and HEAD models use a 40 × 30 mm steel frame, finished with anthracite grey powder coating and equipped with wooden slats.

The LUX bed base offers an alternative construction in solid wood and is also equipped with wooden slats.

This selection makes it possible to configure Duo according to different structural and functional bedroom requirements.

Optional CONTENITORE and STAY Storage

For bedrooms where additional storage is useful, the Duo Bed can be equipped with a CONTENITORE or STAY mechanism.

These versions incorporate high-resistance steel actuators, finished with grey powder coating and assisted by a gas-spring mechanism.

The lifting system provides access to concealed space beneath the mattress, allowing the footprint of the bed to provide additional storage for bedding, blankets, pillows, and other bedroom essentials.

When closed, the storage remains discreetly integrated within the upholstered structure and does not interfere with the clean appearance of Duo.

Feet and Fly Bed Frame Options

Duo is available with standard feet as well as optional designs and finishes.

When the bed is configured with the Fly bed frame, several distinctive foot sets are available.

The Split feet set consists of:

2 ornamental feet fixed beneath the footboard
2 structural feet fixed beneath the headboard

The Blade and Raf foot sets follow the same structural arrangement:

2 ornamental feet fixed beneath the footboard
2 structural feet fixed beneath the headboard

These configurations provide the required support while allowing the visible front feet to contribute to the overall appearance of the bed.

Designed for Contemporary Bedrooms

The Duo Bed by LeComfort is particularly well suited to contemporary bedrooms where practical functionality needs to remain visually discreet.

Its adjustable headboard introduces greater flexibility without adding unnecessary visual complexity. The single-colour upholstery maintains a coherent appearance, while the selection of available fabrics allows the bed to be adapted to different interiors.

Soft beige, cream and taupe fabrics can create a calm and warm bedroom atmosphere. Grey and darker shades can give Duo a stronger architectural presence, while textured fabrics can emphasise the softness of its padded surfaces.

Combined with optional under-bed storage, Duo offers a practical solution for bedrooms where both comfort and efficient use of space are important.

Customise Your Duo Bed by LeComfort

The Duo Bed by LeComfort combines a clean upholstered design with an adjustable headboard, completely removable fabric covers and a broad selection of functional configurations.

Choose from the available LeComfort fabrics, colours and textures to create the preferred single-colour finish.

Several bed-base options, different feet and optional CONTENITORE or STAY storage mechanisms allow the bed to be configured according to individual bedroom requirements.
