Allen Bed by LeComfort

The Allen Bed by LeComfort combines generous comfort, refined Italian design, and practical functionality. Its defining feature is a beautifully upholstered headboard composed of two large, separate cushions with decorative piping, creating a soft and inviting appearance while giving each cushion its own distinctive shape.

The design explores the balance between a single unified bed and two individually defined headboard cushions. A generous upholstered bed frame creates a solid visual foundation, while the two separate cushions introduce softness and symmetry. Their pronounced bordered trim further emphasises the individual form of each cushion.

Beyond its elegant appearance, Allen can also be configured as a highly practical storage bed, with CONTENITORE and STAY mechanisms providing useful space beneath the mattress.

Allen Bed – Large Cushion Headboard

The headboard is the central design feature of the Allen Bed by LeComfort.

Instead of a conventional flat upholstered panel, Allen uses two generously proportioned cushions to create a softer and more comfortable backdrop. Each cushion is individually defined by elegant decorative piping, producing a balanced combination of relaxed comfort and precise Italian tailoring.

The large cushions create an inviting surface for sitting up in bed, reading, or simply relaxing, while their symmetrical arrangement gives the bed a sophisticated and timeless appearance.

This combination allows Allen to work beautifully in contemporary, modern, and softer luxury bedroom interiors.

Comfortable 30 kg/m³ Padding

The upholstered character of the Allen Bed is supported by carefully selected padding materials.

The headboard uses form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³, covered with Tecnoform. This creates a comfortable padded surface while helping the headboard retain its shape over time.

The side rails and footboard are also padded with 30 kg/m³ form-stable expanded polyurethane foam and covered with Tecnoform, providing a consistent level of softness throughout the upholstered structure.

Fully Removable Fabric Upholstery

The Allen Bed by LeComfort is available in an extensive selection of fabric and textile upholstery.

The upholstery is completely removable, making everyday maintenance more practical. Composition, cleaning, and washing requirements vary according to the selected material, so the specific care instructions provided with the chosen upholstery should always be followed.

Allen is not available in leather.

With a broad selection of colours, textures and fabric types available, the appearance of the bed can be adapted to a wide variety of interiors.

Soft cream, beige, sand, taupe and warm grey tones enhance the relaxed character of the large headboard cushions, while deeper colours can give Allen a stronger and more distinctive presence.

Customisable Fabrics and Decorative Piping

One of the most attractive features of the Allen Bed is the possibility to personalise individual upholstered elements.

Different fabrics can be selected for the bed frame, headboard and decorative piping, allowing subtle tone-on-tone combinations or more expressive contrasting designs.

The piping can be used to gently outline the headboard cushions or selected in a contrasting shade to make their distinctive shape more visible.

If fabrics from different price categories are combined, the price of the highest selected fabric category applies.

The choice of fabric used specifically for the decorative piping does not change the price category, providing additional freedom when creating your individual colour combination.

Solid Internal Construction

Behind the soft upholstered exterior is a durable internal structure.

The headboard panel, side rails and footboard are constructed from E1-class wood fibreboard and solid wood, providing a stable foundation for everyday use.

For versions equipped with the CONTENITORE or STAY storage mechanism, the internal bottom panels are manufactured from E1-class wood fibreboard finished with melamine resin.

The result combines a strong internal construction with the soft appearance expected from a premium upholstered bed.

Multiple Bed Base Options

The Allen Bed by LeComfort can be configured with several different bed-base solutions.

The FLAT, TWIN, FINE, TRIO and HEAD models feature a strong 40 × 30 mm steel frame, finished with anthracite grey powder coating and equipped with wooden slats.

For customers looking for a different construction, the LUX bed base is manufactured from solid wood and is also equipped with wooden slats.

These different options allow Allen to be configured according to individual functional and design requirements.

CONTENITORE and STAY Storage Systems

The Allen Bed can be transformed into a practical storage bed with the optional CONTENITORE or STAY mechanism.

These versions use high-resistance steel actuators, finished with grey powder coating and assisted by a gas-spring mechanism. The lifting system provides convenient access to the storage compartment beneath the mattress.

This concealed space is ideal for storing bedding, blankets, pillows and other bedroom essentials without requiring additional furniture in the room.

The available storage capacity depends on the selected bed frame.

Floor / Strong bed frame:
Useful internal storage height – 19 cm

Fly bed frame:
Useful internal storage height – 12 cm

Bed base height:
32 cm

The Floor and Strong versions provide greater internal storage depth, while the Fly frame creates a lighter, more elevated appearance.

Feet and Bed Frame Options

Allen is available with different standard and optional feet and finishes, allowing the appearance of the bed to be further personalised.

With the Fly bed frame, the Blade and Raf foot sets consist of:

2 decorative feet positioned beneath the footboard
2 structural feet positioned beneath the headboard

The selected feet can subtly change the visual character of the bed and help coordinate it with other furniture in the bedroom.

Adjustable Bed Base Supports

For Floor and Strong bed frames, adjustable corner supports are available for the bed-base support.

These components provide additional adjustment and help ensure that the bed base is correctly supported within the structure.

Designed for Elegant Contemporary Bedrooms

The Allen Bed by LeComfort offers a versatile aesthetic that works particularly well in contemporary and sophisticated interiors.

Its two large headboard cushions introduce softness and comfort, while the clearly defined piping gives the design structure and visual precision.

In natural fabrics and neutral colours, Allen creates a calm and understated bedroom environment. In darker or richer upholstery, the generous headboard becomes a much stronger focal point.

The ability to combine different fabrics and piping colours provides even greater freedom when coordinating the bed with bedside tables, rugs, curtains and other bedroom furniture.

Customise Your Allen Bed by LeComfort

The Allen Bed by LeComfort combines a distinctive double-cushion headboard, removable upholstery, multiple bed-base options and practical under-bed storage possibilities.

Choose from the extensive LeComfort collection of fabrics, colours and textures, personalise the bed frame, headboard and decorative piping and select the bed-base configuration that best suits your bedroom.

For additional practicality, choose the CONTENITORE or STAY storage system, with up to 19 cm of useful internal storage height depending on the selected bed frame.
