Timothy Bed by LeComfort

The Timothy Bed by LeComfort is a refined upholstered bed characterised by a distinctive curved headboard, raised edging and generously padded modular cushions. Its design moves away from the conventional flat headboard, introducing different levels, volumes and shapes that give the bed a softer and more dynamic appearance.

The large headboard cushions are divided into separate functional elements, creating comfortable support when sitting or relaxing in bed. Together with the sculptural headboard structure, they form a layered composition that combines contemporary design with everyday comfort.

Timothy also offers extensive possibilities for personalisation. The bed frame and headboard base can be upholstered differently from the headboard cushions, allowing subtle tonal combinations or stronger contrasts between fabrics and colours.

Several bed-base options, different feet, and optional CONTENITORE or STAY under-bed storage mechanisms make the Timothy Bed adaptable to different bedroom requirements.

Free delivery throughout Europe on orders over €2,000.

Timothy Bed – Sculptural Headboard and Modular Cushions

The defining feature of the Timothy Bed by LeComfort is its unusual headboard.

Inspired by flowing movement, the headboard gently bends rather than following a completely straight profile. An embossed edge emphasises its outline and makes the curved construction more visually distinctive.

The result is a headboard with depth and movement that gives Timothy its recognisable character without relying on excessive decorative details.

In contemporary bedrooms, this sculptural form can become an architectural feature in its own right, while the upholstered surfaces retain the warmth and softness expected from a comfortable bedroom interior.

Separate Cushions for Comfortable Support

Timothy’s generously proportioned headboard cushions are divided into separate padded modules rather than forming one continuous flat surface.

This approach is both decorative and functional. The individual elements provide different areas of support, allowing the headboard to function as a comfortable headrest and backrest when sitting upright, reading, or relaxing in bed.

The separation between the cushions also introduces rhythm into the design, reinforcing the contrast between the structured headboard base and its softer upholstered elements.

30 kg/m³ Polyurethane Padding

Comfort and shape retention are supported by carefully specified padding throughout the Timothy Bed.

The headboard uses form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³, covered with Tecnoform beneath the final upholstery.

The headboard cushions also use 30 kg/m³ form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with Tecnoform covering.

The side rails and footboard follow the same specification, using 30 kg/m³ polyurethane foam covered with Tecnoform.

This consistent construction helps maintain the intended shape and proportions of Timothy’s upholstered surfaces.

Customisable Upholstery Combinations

One of the most interesting personalisation possibilities offered by the Timothy Bed by LeComfort is the ability to use different upholstery on separate elements.

The bed frame and headboard base can be upholstered in a different covering from the headboard cushions.

A coordinated combination of closely related shades can create a subtle layered effect, while contrasting fabrics or colours can emphasise the individual cushion modules and sculptural construction of the headboard.

If fabrics from different price categories are combined, the highest selected fabric category determines the price of the bed.

Fully Removable Fabric Upholstery

Timothy is available in fabric or textile upholstery, with the upholstery completely removable.

This provides greater practicality for maintenance and gives customers access to a broad selection of colours, textures and fabric characteristics.

Cleaning and washing requirements depend on the selected textile, so the care instructions supplied with the individual fabric should always be followed.

The Timothy Bed is not available in leather.

Strong Wood-Based Internal Frame

Behind the padded exterior is a robust internal structure.

The headboard panel, side rails and footboard are manufactured from E1-class wood fibreboard and solid wood.

For versions equipped with the CONTENITORE or STAY mechanism, the internal bottom panels are made from E1-class wood fibreboard and finished with melamine resin.

This construction provides a stable foundation for the upholstered bed while supporting the different bed-base and optional storage configurations.

Multiple Bed Base Options

The Timothy Bed can be configured with several bed-base systems.

The FLAT, TWIN, FINE, TRIO, and HEAD bed bases feature a 40 × 30 mm steel frame, finished with anthracite grey powder coating and equipped with wooden slats.

The LUX bed base provides an alternative construction made from solid wood and is also equipped with wooden slats.

These different options allow Timothy to be configured according to the required bed structure and bedroom arrangement.

Optional CONTENITORE and STAY Storage

For bedrooms where additional storage is important, the Timothy Bed by LeComfort is available with optional CONTENITORE and STAY mechanisms.

These versions use high-resistance steel actuators, finished with grey powder coating and assisted by a gas-spring mechanism.

The lifting system provides access to the area beneath the mattress, creating concealed storage within the bed structure.

It is a practical solution for storing bedding, blankets, pillows, and other bedroom items while keeping the clean upholstered appearance of Timothy unchanged when the mechanism is closed.

Feet and Bed Frame Options

Timothy is available with standard feet as well as different optional designs and finishes.

The Split feet set consists of:

2 ornamental feet fixed beneath the footboard
2 structural feet fixed beneath the headboard

When Timothy is configured with the Fly bed frame, Blade and Raf foot sets are also available. These consist of:

2 ornamental feet fixed beneath the footboard
2 structural feet fixed beneath the headboard

These options provide additional possibilities for changing the visual relationship between the upholstered bed frame and the floor.

Contemporary Design with a Softer Character

The Timothy Bed is particularly effective in bedrooms where contemporary design needs to remain warm and inviting.

Its curved headboard introduces movement, while the separate cushions soften the architectural structure and provide practical support.

Neutral fabrics can create a calm and understated bedroom composition, while contrasting upholstery can emphasise the modular construction of the cushions.

The possibility of combining different coverings on the bed frame, headboard base and cushions gives Timothy considerable flexibility when coordinating the bed with surrounding furniture, flooring, curtains and other textiles.

Customise Your Timothy Bed by LeComfort

The Timothy Bed by LeComfort combines a sculptural curved headboard, modular padded cushions and extensive personalisation possibilities in a sophisticated upholstered design.

Choose from the available LeComfort fabrics, colours and textures and decide whether the headboard cushions should coordinate with or contrast against the bed frame and headboard base.

Several bed bases, foot designs and optional CONTENITORE or STAY storage mechanisms provide additional flexibility when configuring the bed.
