Ischia Bed by LeComfort

The Ischia Bed by LeComfort combines a structured upholstered frame with generously padded headboard cushions, creating a comfortable and refined centrepiece for the bedroom. Its design balances clean architectural lines with softer upholstered elements, giving the bed a contemporary appearance while maintaining an inviting character.

The separate headboard cushions introduce additional depth and softness to the design and can be upholstered differently from the structural headboard base and bed frame. This provides considerable freedom to create subtle tonal combinations or more distinctive contrasts between colours and textures.

With completely removable fabric upholstery, several bed-base options and an optional CONTENITORE under-bed storage solution, the Ischia Bed combines personalisation with practical everyday functionality.

Free delivery throughout Europe on orders over €2,000.

Ischia Bed – Contemporary Upholstered Comfort

The Ischia Bed is designed around the relationship between its structured upholstered base and softer headboard cushions.

Rather than creating the headboard as one continuous padded surface, the design uses separate cushions to introduce visual depth and a more relaxed character. The result is a bed that can work equally well in contemporary minimalist bedrooms and warmer interiors based around soft fabrics, natural textures and neutral colours.

The headboard cushions also provide a comfortable upholstered surface when sitting upright in bed, making the design particularly inviting for reading and relaxing.

Padded Headboard and Cushions

The headboard structure of the Ischia Bed by LeComfort is padded with form-stable expanded polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³ and covered with Tecnoform beneath the final upholstery.

The individual headboard cushions use the same 30 kg/m³ form-stable polyurethane foam and Tecnoform covering.

The side rails and footboard are also padded with 30 kg/m³ form-stable expanded polyurethane foam and covered with Tecnoform.

Using the same specified foam density throughout these upholstered elements helps maintain consistent proportions and a cohesive appearance across the complete bed.

Customisable Upholstery Combinations

Ischia provides extensive possibilities for personalisation through its upholstery.

The bed frame and structural headboard base can be upholstered differently from the headboard cushions.

This allows the bed to be configured in several ways. A single fabric throughout creates a calm and coordinated appearance, while two complementary fabrics can subtly emphasise the layered construction of the headboard.

For a stronger visual statement, contrasting colours or textures can be used between the cushions and the surrounding upholstered structure.

If the selected fabrics belong to different price categories, the highest selected fabric category determines the price.

Completely Removable Fabric Upholstery

The Ischia Bed is available in fabric or textile upholstery and the upholstery is completely removable.

This provides additional practicality for maintenance and gives customers access to the extensive range of available LeComfort fabrics, colours and textures.

The appropriate cleaning and washing method depends on the selected textile, so the individual care instructions supplied with the chosen fabric should always be followed.

The Ischia Bed is not available in leather.

Strong Internal Frame

Beneath the padded exterior is a solid internal structure designed to support everyday use.

The headboard panel, side rails and footboard are manufactured from a combination of E1-class wood fibreboard and solid wood.

For the version equipped with the CONTENITORE storage mechanism, the internal bottom panels are manufactured from E1-class wood fibreboard and covered with melamine resin.

This construction provides the structural foundation for the upholstered surfaces, bed base and optional under-bed storage system.

Bed Base Options

The Ischia Bed by LeComfort can be configured with several bed-base models.

The available FLAT, TWIN, FINE and TRIO bed bases feature a 40 × 30 mm steel frame finished with anthracite grey powder coating.

Each of these bed bases is equipped with wooden slats.

The choice of bed-base configuration allows Ischia to be adapted according to individual sleeping and bedroom requirements.

Optional Under-Bed Storage

For bedrooms where additional storage space is needed, Ischia can be configured with an integrated lifting mechanism.

The mechanism uses high-resistance steel actuators, finished with grey powder coating and assisted by a gas-spring system.

This provides access to the space beneath the mattress, allowing the bed to offer useful concealed storage without adding separate furniture to the room.

Bedding, blankets, pillows and other bedroom essentials can be stored inside while the upholstered exterior retains the clean appearance of the standard bed.

Feet and Finishing Options

The Ischia Bed can be personalised further through the selection of standard or optional feet and finishes.

The choice of feet can influence the visual character of an upholstered bed considerably. More discreet options allow the upholstered frame to remain the dominant feature, while more visible feet can create a lighter appearance by increasing the visual separation between the bed frame and floor.

Available combinations depend on the selected Ischia configuration.

Designed for Different Bedroom Styles

One of the strengths of the Ischia Bed by LeComfort is its ability to change character according to the selected upholstery.

Warm beige, cream, taupe, and other neutral textiles can emphasise the soft and relaxed nature of the headboard cushions. Darker fabrics can give the bed a stronger architectural presence, while contrasting upholstery can visually separate the cushions from the headboard base.

The ability to combine different fabrics also makes it easier to coordinate Ischia with curtains, rugs, upholstered chairs and other textile elements within the bedroom.

For a quieter interior, choosing the same fabric throughout creates a unified appearance while still allowing the layered construction of the headboard to provide depth.

Customise Your Ischia Bed by LeComfort

The Ischia Bed by LeComfort combines comfortable padded cushions, a structured upholstered frame and extensive fabric personalisation in a versatile contemporary design.

Choose from the available LeComfort fabrics, colours and textures and decide whether to use a coordinated upholstery throughout or distinguish the headboard cushions from the bed frame and headboard base.

Several bed-base options, different feet and an optional under-bed storage mechanism provide additional flexibility when configuring Ischia for your bedroom.
