Air Sheepskin Swivel Return Memory Armchair by Conform

The Air Sheepskin Swivel Return Memory Armchair by Conform combines sophisticated Scandinavian design, natural sheepskin upholstery and practical swivel functionality in an elegant relaxation chair designed by Jahn Aamodt.

Air has a timeless character that allows it to fit naturally into many different interiors without dominating the room. Its carefully balanced proportions, sculptural shape and premium materials create a chair designed to remain relevant beyond changing interior trends.

Upholstered in natural sheepskin, this version gives Air an especially warm and tactile Scandinavian expression. The swivel base with return memory adds practical freedom of movement, while optional +5 cm high back and +3.5 cm X-seat height configurations allow the chair to be adapted to individual comfort preferences.

The optional high-back version allows the Air Sheepskin Armchair to provide additional support while preserving its elegant proportions.

A matching Air footstool can be added to complete the relaxation set.

Air Sheepskin Swivel Return Memory Armchair by Jahn Aamodt

Designed by Jahn Aamodt, the Air collection represents a refined approach to Scandinavian relaxation furniture.

The design is deliberately understated. Rather than becoming an overpowering feature within the room, the Air Sheepskin Swivel Return Memory Armchair uses elegant proportions and carefully shaped surfaces to integrate naturally with the surrounding furniture.

This makes Air suitable for contemporary living rooms, Scandinavian interiors and more traditional spaces where timeless furniture is preferred over short-lived design trends.

Its enduring appeal is one of the reasons Air has become one of Conform’s most popular armchair designs.

Natural Sheepskin Upholstery

Natural sheepskin gives the Air Sheepskin Swivel Return Memory Armchair a distinctive combination of visual warmth and tactile character.

The natural texture works particularly well with Air’s softly sculpted shape, reinforcing the Nordic character of the chair.

Sheepskin can be paired naturally with wood, stone and other organic materials, making this version particularly suitable for Scandinavian and nature-inspired interiors.

Its characteristic texture also gives the chair a different visual expression from conventional leather or fabric upholstery.

Swivel Function with Return Memory

The Air Sheepskin Swivel Return Memory Armchair by Conform provides freedom of movement through its swivel base.

The chair can rotate while seated, allowing you to change direction naturally without repositioning the entire armchair.

The return-memory function then allows the chair to return towards its original orientation after use. This is especially useful in carefully arranged living rooms because the chair naturally returns towards its intended position.

The feature combines practical everyday functionality with the clean appearance expected from a premium Scandinavian lounge chair.

Optional High Back +5 cm

Air can be configured with an optional high backrest, increasing the back height by 5 cm.

This option is particularly useful for customers who prefer a taller backrest and additional upper-body support while maintaining the characteristic proportions and design language of the Air collection.

High backrest +5 cm – additional charge.

The standard and high-back configurations make it possible to select the version that best suits individual proportions and comfort preferences.

Optional X-Seat Height +3.5 cm

The Air Sheepskin Swivel Return Memory Armchair is also available with an optional X-seat height, increasing the seating position by 3.5 cm.

A higher seat can be preferable for taller users or anyone who simply finds a slightly elevated seating position more comfortable.

It can also make sitting down and standing up easier compared with a lower lounge-chair position.

X-seat height +3.5 cm – additional charge.

This option provides another way to personalise Air according to individual seating requirements.

Matching Air Footstool

The Air footstool is the natural companion to the armchair and completes the overall relaxation experience.

Its design continues the visual language of the chair, allowing the two pieces to form a balanced and coordinated set.

Adding the footstool provides comfortable leg support and allows the Air Sheepskin Swivel Return Memory Armchair to become a dedicated place for reading, resting or simply relaxing.

The final appearance can be coordinated through the choice of upholstery and base configuration.

Timeless Scandinavian Character

One of Air’s defining qualities is its ability to remain distinctive without overwhelming the surrounding interior.

Its classic proportions allow it to work alongside different sofa styles, coffee tables and interior materials, while natural sheepskin gives this particular configuration a warmer Nordic character.

The result is an armchair that can function as an individual design piece while still integrating naturally into the room.

This balance between character and restraint helps explain why Air has remained one of the most popular designs in the Conform collection.

Designed for Long-Term Appeal

Furniture intended for everyday relaxation needs to work beyond a single interior trend.

The Air Sheepskin Swivel Return Memory Armchair was designed with this longevity in mind. Jahn Aamodt’s understated Scandinavian styling avoids unnecessary decorative elements, allowing the quality of the shape, materials and proportions to define the chair.

Natural sheepskin further reinforces this character with its distinctive texture and inviting appearance.

Combined with swivel return-memory functionality and optional height configurations, Air offers a balance of aesthetics and everyday practicality.
